Like the app, but I can not jump to a desired page using the link in the table of contents

This app functions well and is easy to use. However, two things that could be better. First, the map function does not adapt to horizontal viewing. When switching to horizontal the map wants to stay vertical so you cant take advantage of the wider screen. Thats really annoying. Second, how about a way to pick up where you left off? Instead of closing the app and having to start over, why not create bookmarks you can go right to next time you open the app? Thanks--
