This app is a scam, it does not do what it was promised.

I do not often rate an application five stars. This application warrants it. I have used many PDF applications but prefer this one for several reasons. It has the features I need, including bookmarks per file and flexible search options. The user interface is excellent. The are two optional sidebars which allow a lot of information to be visible. And something I really like is that both sidebars and the toolbar can be hidden, giving an absolutely clean interface of only the document.

dont like it, cant edit text, takes forever

Edit feature is a disaster! I canceled within an hour of subscribing and they said it won’t end for the duration of the subscription. So, please don’t get taken in on their free day trial. It’s a lie.

No one has time to help me figure out why things that mean nothing that were free back when we had a computer aren’t free now I’ve got two of this and two of that. This is crazy.

A very good and useful application. I personally recommend it strongly for engineers.

I wish there was I didn’t have to scroll through looking for the page I was last on ..is there something in the settings that o could set to leave it where I left off last .. or will I have to scroll back through? That would be kind of cumbersome. Update just saw where someone had the same issue from 5 years ago. Is there a way you guys can fix this?

This is a useful program for marking up documents. The user interface could be improved, in my opinion. I think the app should better remember state. Access to (what I think would be) common questions should be more accessible.

I always have trouble finding and signing documents sent to PDF filler.

Well for an 80 year old man, with little technical experience PDF has been very helpful. I can send files and photos to save and I have the free version! Thanks again! May God Bless you're company and it’s employees!

I use this for genealogy research and artist resources. I make pdf “booklets” of pictures from my photo album; keep hundreds of books; veterinary articles for my pets; webpages; etc. Everything I want to be handy in one place. I would like to beg the creator to make an OSX version. I’m begging here. I’ll pay for it (especially if you make a one-&-done payment).

This app only works when it wants to. My bookmarks never save, and I have to bookmark pages multiple times before it will get saved. it’s very frustrating, especially since I’m paying for the premium. save yourself a headache and choose a different app.

Can’t even annotate without paying for it. At least PDF Expert allows you to do this…

Layout of the PDF sheets is never the same and has to be replcared every time I open a PDF with multiple sheets.

I work with PDFs professionally so I try every PDF editor and form filler. Most PDF apps that claim to be form fillers do not work. PDF Pro 4 works! I have only found three PDF apps that work well as form fillers. This is one of them. It is also the best value.

there is nothing new in the pdf apps. The big players pdf expert and pdf viewer have not added anything new for years. I was hoping this one was an exception. It is just a copy of the pdf viewer only with an inferior interaction with Files app. I tried it just for the full pdf indexing feature. It only indexes the files in iphone and not in icloud, ie waste of my time and my $1.29 to try this app. I deleted it right away. Developer: when you have something novel, then let us know. In the meantime: Thanks but we are not interested in the millionth copy of pdf viewer interface.

Great app

I do enjoy using it, I get all my needs to accomplish my products. It will be great if you offer synchronisation with other devices such as IPad.

I paid for the full PDF Pro, earlier version, a couple of years ago. With the latest IOS update and PDF Pro 4, now I can’t open my original PDF Pro and I’ve lost access to a lot of valuable files. PDF Pro 4 only asks if I want to start a paid yearly subscription with still no access to my previous files. Really? Shame on you for your greed PDF Pro 4!!

I used this app to take notes when doing my class readings. Everything was good until the app froze then unexpectedly quit. After then I found I have lost all the notes I have taken, which is very upsetting. After the same problem happened twice I dare not use the app anymore. Please fix this issue! (sorry for my English I’m not a native speaker)

I have a number of PDF reader programs. I have subscribed to this one for quite some time. My one complaint is that it does remember which page you were on when switching to a different PDF file. When you want to continue reading the first file, the program always takes you to page 1. This is the only one of the 5 programs I have which does this.

There are a lot of options for PDF apps and I tried many but didn’t like them for one reason or another. But when the trial for PDF Pro expired, I purchased it without hesitation. It’s been enjoyable to use and has everything I need it to do in a clean and pleasing interface.

There should be folders to organize the types of PDFs that are viewed on the shelf. Who wants to fish to find the pdf.

It is perfect

This app has the best combination of features I have found for notating PDF documents. However when making notes on PDFs there is sometimes a large lag time in between your writing with the apple pen and when the word appears. I notice it more when I’m zoomed in on the document and trying to write in a smaller space. I’m using an iPad Pro 12 inch, so the refresh rate is 120 Hz. Other note apps just don’t lag like this. If this bug can be fixed, it will be truly awesome.

Really??? I pay for the app a few versions ago. Now you want me to pay a monthly fee to use the copy feature???! Yeah, you definitely earned my one star. Wish it was zero but Apple doesn’t let me give a lower ranking. I’ll pass on this app. I’m so glad I wasted money on it. You know there are plenty of other pdf apps that don’t charge for a basic feature like copy. Just wow. Good luck.

It doesn’t remember the pages, so you always start from page one, loosing the last page you have read. I paid and can’t really use it.

All my markups disappear! I spend months to make it and all disappeared !!! Don’t use it!

it’s a very good app I used

It used to be my go to PDF reader because it was good and in the beginning I was a free user turn paid subscriber for two years. When it was free, they still had the option to do basic highlighting and other uses. But I decided to subscribe to support them in the good work. But they got greedy, It used to be 9.99 and now that my subscription has expired I realised that now they have increased their yearly subscription to 12.99 and the free functions they had previously had before are now all taken out and put as a paid function. So guess what? I’m switching over to a new PDF reader and deleting this app.

When sharing，the original name of a PDF File is used after it has been changed to a new one. A bug？

Only complaint so far is it returns to cover page on restart (even when app was never technically closed) instead of page you were last reading. Good thing there’s bookmarks.

Great App more than 5 *******

I just spent a couple of hours charging up my iPad, updating apps, getting files into google drive as PDFs and then over to iPad to grade some essays and you can’t write on these PDFs at all without paying 1.99 a month. The pictures make it seem like you can do basic highlighting and writing, but if you tap on the pen, it says you have to upgrade premium - such a waste of time!

Yeah not kidding. I gotta pay for it. The developer is generous to give 1 day free trial. Yeah ONE day then you have to pay a monthly or a yearly subscription. I like generous developers so here’s my generous 1 star review.
